After more than 5 years without adjustments, the environmental contribution PV will change drastically from July 1, 2023.
The environmental contribution PV must increasingly take into account the eco-modularity of solar panels.
This means that the environmental contribution PV will be determined according to the dismantleability of the solar panel and the recyclability of the dismantled materials.
The eco-modulation and the evaluation of the costs of collection and processing result in new environmental contributions PV as of 01/07/2023.
Until 30 June 2023, the environmental contribution remains at 2 eur each ex VAT.

With the end of the year, we would like to take a moment to thank you for your trust in our organization. Since our launch in May 2016, 300 companies have been calling on PV CYCLE BELGIUM to meet their obligations linked to the legislation on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). In cooperation with the Regions, we are actively tracking down free-riders to ensure a level playing field.
In the coming weeks, we will also publish a list of FAQs to answer questions regarding the changes in amounts and their practical implications.
