About Us

PV CYCLE Belgium is the management body for the take-back and recycling of used PV panels in Belgium. We support companies placing PV panels on the market to meet their legal obligations and provide a sustainable recycling solution for each PV panel we collect. We are a private non-profit organization governed by sector federations Techlink, Eloya, Nelectra, ODE and Edora and controlled by the regional authorities.

PV CYCLE Beglium is a founding member of ROUND, the alliance of Belgian extended producer responsibility organizations.

EXPERTISE

Since 2007, the European PV CYCLE organization, of which PV CYCLE Belgium is a part, has built a vast expertise in the collection and recycling of photovoltaic PV panels. We use advanced technologies to guarantee our members sustainable, high-quality and safe recycling. We also participate in national and international research projects, stimulating technological progress and investment in the recycling sector.

We strive to provide quality service to our members and we help them fulfill their legal obligations in a cost-effective manner. We have strict selection criteria for our recycling partners, who must meet high standards of safety, quality and sustainability. Thanks to regular audits of our partners and our own ISO-certified procedures, we guarantee a high level of quality throughout the chain.

SUSTAINABLE

PV panels produce green energy and are essential in the fight against global warming. At the end of their life, we recover the valuable materials they contain, further reducing their impact and avoiding the loss of raw materials. We also use local recycling partners, preferably from Belgium and neighboring countries. In this way, we reduce the impact of logistics and transport and guarantee high-quality processing and a transparent chain.
